How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been taking pictures for a little over 5 years. I went to Photography school at Polk State College in Lakeland first because I find it vital in this profession to go to school to learn all the ins and outs (Lighting, Equipment, Photoshop and so SO much more.) Just like you would want your Doctor to have gone to Medical school, your Photographer should have the correct Education as well.
How would you describe your style?
I’d call myself a Natural Light Lifestyle Photographer. I’m all about provoking organic emotion & candidly capturing unique photos of subjects. For the best idea of my style click through my galleries.
How long does it take for us to receive our photos?
My turnaround time is 1-2 weeks, but I tend to post spoilers on my Facebook and Instagram page. I’ll let you know as soon as they’re good and ready.
What should we wear to our photo shoot?
I have created a Pinterest board of items that I think photograph beautifully and add to your images rather than take away. Click here to see the board of ideas.
Can I upload my photos to Facebook or share the ones you post?
Absolutely! Just promise not to crop or alter them in any way.
(& Photo Creds are always a plus! <3)
What’s in your camera bag?
A Canon 5D Mark III camera with an L series Prime Lens. I also like to break out a film camera if I’m feeling saucy.
Can I have all the unedited pictures you take?
No sir! You’ll receive all of the photos less any blinking, lame faces, or safety shots I may have taken. I fancy a specific editing style and never deliver images that are incomplete.
How far out do you book?
For Weddings as SOON as you know a date its vital to email to book it because Wedding Season Dates fill up very fast. I already have multiple Wedding Dates reserved for 2018 so the sooner the better. As far as Family Sessions/Maternity Sessions etc please give me a 2-3 week notice for a weekday or a 4-8 week notice for a weekend date. Newborns I will get in ASAP as they grow very fast and I will do them on my days off if need be to make sure we capture their precious first moments.
